Merry Christmas!!

Fri Dec 25, 2009, 11:24 AM
=) Hope everyone had a great one! I know I did (and will! We're going to grandparents house in a few hours for dinner). I got tons of stuff I wasn't even expecting and probably don't even need!

My mom bought me fuzzy boots. They're like Uggs, but not gross. They're cute and short and furry from Bath and Body Works, and they've got flowers on them. So much cuter, and surprisingly, they don't make my feet sweat. I got some other cute brown boots to replace my old black ones (that I've had since 6th grade) and a new iPod Nano (I'm soooo lucky! omfg!) and OH A car-trunk-organizer. Bahaha. My dad gave me Pearl earrings. nothing fancy, just studs. and they're really pretty. =)

So now that I'm done bragging.... (nya) What did everyone else get?! TELL MEEEE Soooo share! I hope Santa brought your stuff for yas!

Merry Christmas!

Lollipop! + Ikkicon

Sat Dec 19, 2009, 5:51 AM
Okay! I have the song Lollipop by Mika stuck in my head (lol)

Ikkicon in 2 weeks. Thing is....

To do list:
:star-half: Dark Link Shield
:star-half: Dark Link Tunic
:star-empty: Ran garters (they like... fell apart...)
:star: Ran costume
:star: Dark Link sword

OKAY! You see what I have to do in 10 days? Minus the 25th (Xmas), the 31 (night before) and the 30 (night before that.)
So yeah. The Link's coming over so I can size his costume and so he can cut out the cardboard for the shield. (My hand hurts, I've got a monster bruise. ouchies) So SCORE he's helping me with his own present -useless- but it looks way cool, and I'm sooooo ready to get it done, lol. I'll keep posted. It looks almost done now. I'll put a picture when the costume and shield are done-done-done!

PS! Merry Holidays everyone! I dunno Christmas, or Kwanzaa, or Hanukkah, just have a good one, alright! (Promise...?)

OKAY! So you know how things are less-scary during the day?
Last night, I decided to look up scenes from the Shining film. Well I decided 11 at night wasn't a smart time to do it so I completed my search just now. HO-LY-CRAP! I saw one shot of the Dogman (Roger) from the film, and OMG I'm too scared to even leave my own room. It's 7AM. What The Hell. I keep thinking I hear the front door open, too. >>' I freaking locked it after my mom left. Wugh.

I also noticed a commentary by Bill Blakemore (I think) more of a criticism. He related the happenings at the Overlook (the whole novel) to the oppression of Indians. Native Americans. Because of the Native American decor and all that.
Honestly...? I think it's because in the movie, Danny (the kid) compared the Overlook to one of those hidden pictures 'CAN YOU FIND THE INDIANS' and how you could see some of them but not all of them at once. Hm.... Idk what do you think? Read and see!

I feel like I should write a sequel to the Shining. I mean, What if, somehow, the Overlook had survived? Like... but... omg I'm too into this. (i went from terrified to intrigued, to excited)

Okay~ so New Moon's coming out on my friend's birthday. And seeing that she (Alex), Rhi-chan, and I are the only girls in school who don't go into a fit whenever we see a poster for Jacob Black or Edward Cullen, she's not impressed. She's -very- unimpressed, actually. She's pretty upset. In a funny way.

I really -really- REALLY would, however, like to know the fascination. It's not that I'm strictly reality-based. I mean, check it out. I love Disney movies like Hercules and Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast and everything else. But for the life of me cannot understand the obsession with a sparkly vampire, an anemic chick with no sense of self-preservation, and a boy who puts moves on the anemic chick while sparkle-boy has fled the country.

I realize that nothing I'm in absolute love with is realistic (exploding clay birds? Fah!) but I think it's kindof sad. I feel a little pity for Stephanie Meyer. No matter what else she writes (like 'Host' ) it will always say Written by: Stephanie Meyer, author of the Twilight Saga. Which is why I will never take her or any of her other works seriously.

Whatever. Maybe I just can't have 'fun'. But give me Twilight Princess instead. I'd love my blond-wolf-boy and crazy Imp girl over... sparkle-muffin Edward.

~Mika-chu~! (yes, I did put a lot of thought into this and I -do- want feedback)

XOXO Edit! XOXO

Okay, so a few weeks ago, we were at the mall, Sammi, Mai, Breana and I. And we were in Spencer's Gifts (YAY lol) and Sammi picked up the picture book of New Moon full of stills. We were looking at it and the employee came over and said 'Twilight. Ugh I should have known.'
I said: No... I'm just critiquing. and he was like: What? How hot the guys are? >> I was like: no, how dumb they are. He approved and went off. We kinda left after that. I'm not -usually- that open. Especially to employees of random stores.

Blarghargh....

Wed Oct 14, 2009, 6:11 PM
I feel sick to my stomach. I'm not... sick I don't think. I just feel awful. I hate feeling this way.

I feel like I want to cry because I feel like I've let everyone down... Like I'm just scummy scum. Below scum. It sucks to feel so down, and I don't really... care. It's just so blargh. pukey-sicky-yucky-ness. =(

I also feel really angry. Like I'm the one being let down. It sucks because I just want someone to depend on... I had someone like that... but he went away... -frowns and picks at teddy's fur-

But I'm eating gummy bears and watching South Park. Hope I cheer up soon. I got a vaccination shot today. I'm not so good, maybe that's why I'm so down, you know? It's not so cool... =(
